Celebratory jersey for the 50th Granfondo presented

A celebratory jersey for the 50th anniversary of the Granfondo Matildica, dedicated to the historic president of the Cooperatori Valentino Iotti, with which to enjoy the event on 17 July.

With less than two months to go before the official start of the competitive cycle race - which we remind you will host the Uec European Championships for ’granfondo’ and ’mediofondo’ - the company in Via Marro,  organizer of the event, has launched a new promotion. For all participants in the competitive part, the jersey is already included in the registration and will be delivered with the race package.

While for cycle tourists it will be available at the special price of 30 euros; in the latter case, simply write an email to granfondo@cooperatori.it specifying your preferred size.

"It has been designed in collaboration with the stylists of “Alé”, technical sponsor and supplier to Uec, conceived with modern criteria of wearability and performance, as well as being extremely breathable in view of the summer season," reiterated Roberto Camorani, in presenting satisfied with the new Cooperatori branded jewel. "It has been designed with specific criteria in mind,’ he continues. ’Red is the colour of the Granfondo Matildica, while the innovative design recalls the V of Valentino Iotti, our late president, to which we have also added the name ’Tino’ (as he was amiably known by everyone) on the sides. Not least, the V also represents the word victory. In addition, the logos of the supplier “Alé” and that of the Uec will be present, to remind us that this edition, for the first time ever, will be a ’granfondo’ and ’mediofondo’ European Championship.

To describe the Granfondo, a symbol of Reggio, there will naturally also be references to our territory: "With the logo of the event in the center and that of the Cantina Albinea Canali (main sponsor of the competition) on the shoulders, we have placed the ’skyline’ of Reggio with the “Tricolor” on the left arm, since the start and finish will be in our city, where the Italian flag was born".
