Formats more than 100 ASA in the province of Reggio Emilia

Saturday 25 June 2022, the first A.S.A training course in Reggio nell’Emilia, Saturday 22 April 2023 the last course organized. In just over 10 months the A.S.D. Cooperatori and the Italian Cycling Federation have been able to involve and train more than 100 A.S.A.; the training of these figures will be, in fact, essential during the Granfondo Matildica on June 4th, together with all the help of volunteers, for the proper conduct of the competition.Formats more than 100 ASA in the province of Reggio Emilia

The A.S.A. are the persons assigned to carry out the duties of personnel standing on duty during road cycling races, in accordance with what is indicated in the Technical Stock Regulations and related Ministerial Circulars issued, in order to regulate the circulation of the vehicles crossing the race route and the vehicles and competitors participating in the race itself.

The participants, of all the courses organized, took the course of 8 hours and successfully passed the final test for the assignment of the title and with the recognition of the Road Police. 

The aim of the training course is to optimise the preparation of those preparing to work as additional signalling workers in cycling competitions. This training relates mainly to safety aspects at the passage of the race.

The course program aims to provide the appropriate reference models, to give the necessary skills to fill the indispensable role to operate safely in the assigned position.
