SO MUCH SUN AND SO MUCH SATISFACTION FOR THE PARTICIPANTS OF DANTE'S CLIMB

33°C at 900 metres above sea level, in the shadow of the Pietra di Bismantova, the fearless cyclists who have defied the scorching heat to win the qualification UCI granfondo world series for the speciality of chronometer race. 

The Cronoscalata di Dante had in fact a route of 8 kilometers and 630 meters, starting from the Ponte di Pianello and arriving in Piazzale Dante after having faced 468 meters of difference in height.

About sixty participants registered to the event who showed up at the starting platform.

The awards ceremony was chaired by the mayor of Castelnovo ne’ Monti Enrico Bini and the councilors Giorgio Severi and Chiara Borghi. Thanks to the Pedal University who collaborated in the realization of the event and the refreshment point, supplied with Sigma Realco products, made available to cyclists once they arrived at the foot of the suggestive panorama visible from the Stone of Bismantova.
