Clarification of registrations to Matildica for the UEC Championship

In view of the many requests for clarification from the many interested in the competition we report the official press release of the Italian Cycling Federation; we invite you to read it to dispel any possible doubt about the possibility of participation in the UEC Championship.

Subject: Participation in the UEC European and UCI Granfondo World Championships

For the participation in the UEC European Championships and the UCI Granfondo World Championships (and chronometer for the latter) it is necessary to have the FCI card accompanied by UCI ID, therefore EPS card holders will not be admitted to these tests, as evidenced in the Implementing Regulations in force, in art.1.3.5.

Athletes already registered for the EPS will be able to opt for the federal card only in compliance with the restrictions imposed by art. 1.2.1 and 1.2.3 of the Implementing Regulations (prohibition of multiple membership and transfer to another company), therefore they must express renunciation for the membership of the institution, contacting the institution itself, and arrange for the FCI affiliation according to practice. Please note that only ACSI members will be able to take advantage of a simplified release procedure, to be activated at the institution.

As regards participation in the world trials, it is recalled that a shirt distinctive of the nationality to which it belongs, i.e. blue and bearing the logo “ITALIA” on the chest, not less than 20 cm wide.
